Blackwater en Kinect. WTF?

Como lo oís. Se ha anunciado un FPS para Kinect en el que... ¡sorpresa! Nos pondremos en el lugar de un soldado de la contratista. Es decir, seremos un mercenario a sueldo de los que sabemos que hacen barabaridades con total impunidad en Oriente Medio. Conmoción y pavor.

Kinect: de juegos para niños a... matar a niños.

It should be [E3] Microsoft but yet another year the conference has been entirely about Kinect.

 

Summary of the conference

 

The coolest things (aka, the news on ADULT games) is that we will be able to do things such as reading our own lines in Mass Effect 3 or actually shooting in Ghost Recon.

Then, some cool things for kids like a Disneyland game (more or less like the Adventures but with another artwork), and a Sesame Street game ^^. Obviously they choose their franchises very wisely :_)

Talking about franchises, there will be also a Star Wars for Kinect, whose presentation has been pathetic. The images of the game were pre-recorded and the movement of the person that pretended to be playing live were totally different to those of their character.

To top it all, they announce a CryTek game set in ROME, it looks very cool, nice graphics... A lot of theories pass through my mind: a RTS? an adventure? a RPG? ...not at all. Kinect again. An on-rails adventure to slash with your laser sword when you're told to.

The icing of the cake was the new Fable trailer, featuring... Lostzilla. The black smoke. Utterly shameless. Disgusting.

In short: a blast if you are 5 years old. Quite interesting if you are 15 AND live in the US. For the rest of us... NEXT!

[E3] Kinect

Bueno, en teoría sería [E3] Microsoft, pero la conferencia ha sido, un año más, íntegramente sobre Kinect. 

Resumen de la conferencia

 

Lo que más ha molado (aka, las novedades en juegos PARA ADULTOS) es que podremos hacer cosas como leer nuestras líneas en Mass Effect o disparar "en serio" en el Ghost Recon. 

Luego, cosas muy guais para niños como un juego de Disneyland (más o menos el Adventures pero con otro decorado), y otro de Barrio Sésamo ^^. Desde luego las franquicias las saben elegir muy bien :_)

Hablando de franquicias, también para Kinect un Star Wars, cuya presentación ha sido penosa porque, como siempre, las imágenes del juego están grabadas y los movimientos de la persona que hace como que juega en directo no tienen nada que ver con los de su personaje. 

Para colmo, anuncian un juego con CryTek en ROMA, pinta super bien, graficazos... En mi mente se barajan todo tipo de teorías: ¿un RTS?, ¿aventura?, ¿¿ROOOOLL??... Pues no. Más Kinect. Una especie de aventurilla sobre raíles en la que dar espadazos cuando te lo indiquen.

Lo peor ha sido el tráiler del nuevo Fable, en el que el malo es... Lostzilla. El humo negro, vaya. Sin ningún reparo. Asco.

Resúmen: subidón si tienes 5 años. Cierto interés si tienes 15 años Y vives en EEUU. Para los demás... ¡siguiente!
